Ignite Your Spirit From Darkness to New Life :John 6

John 6:35: 35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

From now on, Jesus begins to offer statements that reveal the nature of God.  Here in John 6, we meet the sustaining bread both physically and spiritually speaking.

THE SUSTAINING BREAD OF LIVE

Oh, how much we owe you, my God! From the very first moment of creation, it was your will that enabled us to be, and it is your word that sustains us. For your creation is not a one-time act, but a continuous maintenance of life and being. The worship of the God of heaven should rise within our souls even when we look at something as simple as a chair, a pen, or a piece of paper on the floor.

The Bible tells us that Jesus sustains all that he has made by the word of his power (Hebrews 1:3). To God, creating and sustaining are inseparable, for the work of creation is never a one-off act. Whatever God makes, he also gives life to. God does not create beings that are independent of him; none of God's creatures has been given being and life that are contained in themselves independently. This is the meaning of “I am the bread of life”.
