Psalms 6

OUR DISCUSSIONS FROM PSALMS 6

Psalms 6:7 - "My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes."

Have you ever woken up in the morning feeling a little off and wondered why? As Barbara pointed out, sometimes it is our spiritual sight that is lacking, and we are not able to discern what is really going on. During our Bible discussions today, we decided that before getting out of bed every morning, we must remind ourselves that we are the beloved of God.

Finally, Psalms 6:5 states, "Among the dead no one proclaims your name. Who praises you from the grave?"

Could it be that David was talking about the "dead in sin"? None can truly praise God if they are living in active sin.

This calls for self-examination.
