Psalms 2: The Deception of Progress – A Biblical Perspective

Psalm 2:1-3 – "Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, 'Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.'”

Human progress often appears beneficial but can lead to rebellion against God. Societies push for so-called "liberation," yet remove God in the process. Psalm 2 reminds us that hostility toward God’s truth is nothing new, but we are assured of victory in Christ (John 16:33, Psalm 34:19).

Despite opposition, God's truth prevails. Our response? Stand firm, trust in God's wisdom, and live in obedience to His Word.
