"The Fool Says in His Heart, ‘There is No God.’

Foolishness can be defined as the consistent making of poor choices due to a lack of wisdom or hope.

What Is the Reason for Our Hope?

Hope can be defined as the ability to taste and benefit from a reality that is not yet fully realized.

In Revelation 7:13-15, John is asked a question by one of the heavenly elders:
“…These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”

The elder then answers his own question, saying:
"They are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence."

This is the source of our hope and the foundation of true wisdom.

Because God is real, our moral choices and wise decisions are not driven by fear of punishment, but by hope—the certainty that one day, He will shelter us with His presence.
